The Train Graveyard

I saw the view from the Bandung-Jakarta train when it is stopped at a station. My eyes were fixed on a stack of wrecked trains scattered in the station’s yard.

Old trains graveyard. Somehow it made me feel sad. I remember when I was a teenager I used to travel by these type of trains along with my friends and family. As a young adult I really love train travel and how it taught me a lot about life.

Just like David Lowery said : “Time goes by so slowly when you’re a child, and then, as an adult, it goes by in the blink of an eye.”

Lovely thoughts Phebie, I agree. Sad. Yet why so close to the active line? 😮🤔

Thank you, John. Well, actually it’s quite far away from that. I used a telephoto lens. 🙂
